final days to vote on may script read club!
May is all about murder and mystery 🔪🕵️♀️
Hello there. This month’s script club will take place THURSDAY MAY 28th at 5:30pmPT!!! Only three more days to vote!
What is ….
Similar to a book club but it’s all about a script (shocker!) We all read the script beforehand and try to watch the film/tv show as well!
We’ll jump on a video chat and talk about what we loved, what surprised us, things we learned. We’ll be chatting all things: plot, characters and development, dialogue, settings, themes, favorite moments, how did the show and screenplay compare and more!
Script club usually occurs on the third or fourth THURSDAY of every month at 5ish-PM pt.

Why Script Read Club?
Reading scripts is what I equate to taking my screenwriting work to the next level. The insights I gained from reading my favorite tv shows and writers work allowed me to better understand not only proper formatting of a script but the infinitely creative ways in which stories can be told in script format, how to define characters through dialogue, how important it is to develop my own sense of style and voice and so much more and when I was able to talk out the big ideas I took away from the read with friends, it enhanced it that much more!
This is a space for anyone who wants to be a writer, director or actor or just someone who loves to read.
Below you’ll find the discord invite for voting, date, links to scripts and more! Can’t wait to see y’all there!
