I LOOOATHHHEEEEEE the phrase and concept of ‘networking’ because to me it’s a self-absorbed notion. Because for most people it’s simply them wondering “How can I find someone who can help me” instead of wondering how they can make friends and a community that they can help and will in turn help them too.
